On august 22, 2026, representatives of Kazakhstan’s engineering companies gathered for an industry meeting to discuss the initiative to establish a Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO) within the sector.
The meeting was organized by industry associations and the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), with Engineering Services acting as a co-organizer and contributing to bringing engineering market participants together for a professional dialogue.
The discussion focused on the development of self-regulation mechanisms, improving the quality of engineering services, strengthening professional accountability, and establishing common industry standards and approaches.
Participants also discussed the potential role of an SRO as a platform for consolidating the engineering community, exchanging expertise, and developing joint proposals aimed at advancing the industry.
For Engineering Services, co-organizing this meeting is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the development of Kazakhstan’s professional engineering community.

Following the meeting, participants agreed to continue the dialogue and further develop the organizational and practical aspects related to the potential establishment of an SRO.
