LEAN Ideas That Deliver Results: Engineering Services Employees Receive Awards for Improvements

At Engineering Services, we believe that the most effective changes often begin not with a major transformation project, but with one simple question:

“How can we do this better?”

And the most valuable answers often come from the people who work with these processes every day — those who see unnecessary steps, repetitive tasks, wasted time, and opportunities to improve the way we work.

Five LEAN initiatives proposed and implemented by our colleagues have now been recognized with financial awards:

• Salman Albagachiev – proposed a solution to optimize overhead costs.
• Togzhan Erkinkyzy – created an online tool for conducting surveys and questionnaires.
• Egor Kochevansky – developed a program that automatically matches each item in the completed works statement (AVR) with the corresponding item in the local cost estimate.
• Furkat Maksudov – developed and implemented an internal BI platform (Data Lake) for the Uzbekistan branch.
• Toktar Otzhanov – developed and implemented Assistant FTC, a unified MS Excel-based tool that automates the full cycle of preparing commercial proposals.

What connects all five initiatives is one simple principle: instead of accepting an inefficient process as “the way things have always been done,” look for a better way to do it.

That is what LEAN means to us.

LEAN is not just about reducing costs. It is about creating a culture where every employee can identify an opportunity for improvement, propose a solution, turn that idea into a practical tool, and be recognized for the value it creates.
