Sometimes presentations, drawings, and reports are not enough to truly understand construction. Sometimes the best way to understand the process is simply to pick up a trowel and try it yourself.
That’s exactly what we decided to do at Engineering Services. Our sales managers and marketing specialists, who usually deal with projects, negotiations, and technical discussions, stepped out of the office and into a practical training session on brickwork, monolithic concrete, and finishing works.
In other words, we ran a small experiment:
what happens if people who usually talk about concrete in meeting rooms actually start working with concrete?

In theory, everything sounds simple.
But when you are standing in front of mortar, bricks, and a level, you quickly realize that the word precision has a very practical meaning.
During the training, our team:
Some discoveries were quite unexpected.
For example, a perfectly straight wall doesn’t appear by itself.
Concrete isn’t simply “poured” – it follows strict technology.
And a level is not just about mood – it’s about geometry.
For the Engineering Services team, this was not just a workshop. It was a chance to literally touch construction.
Every day we deal with construction projects, technical tasks, deadlines, quality requirements, and engineering solutions. But this experience added something new to our understanding — hands-on experience.

After several hours of practice, it becomes clear:
Of course, our marketers are not planning to become bricklayers, and our sales managers are not switching careers to monolithic concrete specialists.
But this experience gave us something very important – a deeper understanding of the process.
Now when we talk about construction, we don’t only know the numbers, standards, and processes. We also understand what it feels like to hold a trowel, align a brick, and check a wall with a level.
